Region 4: Rocky Desert

The Rocky Desert is the game's open canyon country: sandstone walls, dead trees, long sightlines and a bright blue sky. The area bar reads "Rocky Desert 5 of 5", and the launch screenshots show its signature fight — a LVL 20 Dehydrated Hydra in a canyon pass, fought with wands and spells while the turn counter ticks past 230.

Desert fights play out in the open, and the HUD tells the story: a gold counter ("Gold: 0 (of 35)") tracks loot on the floor, and the Secrets counter keeps its per-sub-zone habit. Long sightlines mean you pick fights at range first — wand users get the most out of this map, and the Python encounter rewards players who keep their distance.
